"Excellent game. Relaxing and challenging. I like especially the word puzzles. Congrats!"
"...I think this game hits more of the proper notes I wanted from a genre like this than Viva Pinata ever had. ...Kudos to the team for making it!"
"GardenMind is exactly that, a garden for your mind. Unlike many games, it goes beyond just planting. Its mini games start off easy and become more challenging as you progress. Most of all, the visuals are constantly being upgraded and the developers are consistently there to listen and help the players. If you like exercising your brain while playing fun games, you will love this one!"
To grow your garden by playing brain challenges. You complete goals and gain rewards to access more garden items and more brain games. Other goals include topping the leaderboards for your scores, unlocking more areas of your garden and finding the secret quest items.
Gold Leaves allow you to buy premium items, grow plants without water, buy more water, and a few other nifty things. You can stock up by clicking on Gold Leaf at the top of the screen then clicking the "Add More" button. Or, if you try to buy an object costing gold leaves but do not have enough you will likely be asked if you want to buy more.
You can get more Gold Leaves by paying money (by Credit Card, Paypal, and a bunch of other methods) or by earning them by completing offers. Offers are ways for marketing people to get your help with various things - filling out surveys, signing up for other games or making real world purchases. Search around for different offers, many of them are quite fun.
You get green leaves by growing items (play the brain game to level it up), Composting items (click on any garden item then click the Compost button), completing Goals (check out your goals by clicking the button in the top left corner) or through other random moments of insight!
Lots!
There are 7 categories of brain challenge - Language, Perception, Reaction, Logic, Memory, Math and Wisdom. In total there are currently more than 60 brain challenge game variations with new ones added each week.
The "Garden Items" button is located in the top right corner of the game. This is where you buy new garden items. Each item has one mini-game that grows it (except for "Structures" which are just there to look pretty and not be brainy). The items are divided into categories (Flowers, shrubs, vines and so on) - click on the horizontal tabs to find objects in other categories. At the start you will have access to only a few garden items but as you complete goals you will unlock more items and therefore have more games to play.
Every game has an instruction screen with a tutorial video. Just launch the game (click on the garden item, then the blue Play button) and from the instruction screen click on the tutorial video to watch it. When you are ready to start the game push the Play Now button.
Click on the Friendship Tree (the biggest tree on screen) and then click on your friend's picture. You will be transported to your friend's mind. No friends on the Friendship Tree? That means you need to invite some!
That wouldn't be very nice now would it?! We believe that everyone is a winner, you should encourage them to keep growing!
Okay, we'll let you do that. But be careful not to crow too loudly, there's a good chance they have a better score than you on one of the other brain games.
The cool thing about GardenMind is that you can play using any of your social network logins (Facebook, Twitter, Gmail, etc). If you can't see your friends then it is likely you have signed in using different social networks - ones which you are not both connected to each other one. This is easy fixed, just click on the social network buttons next to the game to associate your other accounts with your main one and you'll be able to see all of your friends who are playing no matter what social network you know them from.
Every time you grow a Garden Item, you earn Seeds. Each Seed you earn represents a donation to DinnerGarden.org, to aid in the fight against hunger!
Every seed that you accumulate in the game will be donated to charity and ultimately to a family in need.
We have big plans to add lots of cool stuff to the game. More animals, more abilities, more things to do with your friends and obviously, a bunch more brain games. We'd love to hear if there is anything specific you would like to see. Head over to our community page on Facebook and let us know!
